Keep our head cold in that tough division...

I am trying my best to not get too exited about our team at the moment. I have a terrible feeling that our record is due to a really favorable schedule combined to some luck (banged up team, back up QB...). Yes our #D look/is elite but what our offense will look like against another elite D?

When I see the remaining schedules for both of the 3 teams (us, rams, 49ers) : we could honestly finish 3rd in our division... Of course PO are still waiting for us with this record but damn, it hurts saying this.

Rams, @Panthers and @49ers is a hell of a road. We could easily go 1-2 or even 0-3. I can't wait to be wrong and be trashed for saying this.

Do I suffer a classic negative/bad feeling of a Seahawks fan from this community or do I say something legit?

Come on man, no need for that. Enjoy the ride. This is a fun season. Why doom and gloom your way thru the year? Honest question.

That's the first thing I thought of too.

Are we really that afraid to embrace success?

Yes, I don't watch the games live, self preservation and all that. But it has nothing to do with my belief that we are a legit, top tier team. If we were 13-0 right now I would still not watch live. Not because I think we aren't good or legit, but I know the other team is full of professional athletes too, making millions of dollars. Ask the Bucs today how they feel after losing at home to the 2-8 Saints.

But let's not diminish the team's success in any measure. Let's not be afraid of success or apologize for strength of schedule or opponents we face on any level.

I honestly don't know how people can have watched the hawks play this not season and not see that we are a team that has been in control in just about every game.

Yes we have a 4-int showing from Darnold against the Rams, and yes the Bucs tore apart our patchwork defense, but apart from that we have never looked like the worst team on the field - even in those 2 games I'd argue we looked the better team for the most part. Even the Niners game Darnold was driving down the field and if not for Lucas losing his battle on the edge I felt fully confident we would get the TD on that drive. There a lot of games where the final score looks a lot closer than the gap between the 2 teams actually was on the field (both Cards games, Titans, Saints, Commanders scores all flatter our opposition).

If you can't watch the Seahawks play this season and enjoy the ride, I don't think you will ever enjoy it.

Now, do we have a tough schedule the rest of the way? Sure. But it's not going to be easy for our opponents either.

Everything you say is true. Wins are hard to come by in the NFL. The Seahawks could easily lose to the Rams and 49ers a second time, no matter how evenly matched they might be.

It's stomach-churning time for fans now. How you feel on that scale of blind optimism to gloomy negativity might be more a reflection of your personality than anything else, though.

I say try to relax and enjoy the ride. This has been a great season, no matter how it turns out.

If you can’t get excited for what’s happening with this Seahawks team, I’m not sure you can get excited for any Seahawks iteration. To steal a phrase I kept hearing around the 2013 team…iron sharpens iron.

Not every team is the same. Not every season is the same. Yesterday they earned their 10th win of the season. This is the 50th iteration of Seahawks football. 2025 is the 15th season out of 50 where this team has gotten 10 or more wins. Let me say that another way. This is only the 15th time they have won 10 or more. 13 of those 15 seasons have happened this century. The other 2 came in the first 28 years of this team’s existence.
Those of us that can remember those first 28 years of scattered success maybe just have a different perspective. Maybe my old time Seahawks fandom is just still really enjoying sustained growth and success.

Need the Bears to do us a solid against the 49ers and the Lions with the Rams otherwise we probably need to win out.

I'm feeling that we should be considered favourites in each of the remaining 4 games; the Colts game given their situation I'd be absolutely astonished if we dropped that game. The Rams game we will need to play choke-free, clinical football but I truly believe we are the better team as our defense can hold them in check. Panthers are not on our level and we have 10 days to prepare for so we should be able to handle our business. 49ers I hate seeing as the last game of the year with potentially all the marbles on the line. But its all part of what has been a fun season, lets' ride it out to the very end. GO HAWKS

I'm feeling much better after our offense got back on track in our "get right" second half yesterday. While I would have liked to work on our running game, we needed to focus on getting Sam's head back into the aggressive, fearless, quick strike mode he was in to start the season, back when he was a legit MVP candidate.

We've had a couple lucky breaks as far as who we play and when we play them. We did have a 2nd place schedule so it's not like we were matched up against really bad opponents when the schedule came out. You can only play who you are scheduled against, it's a tough league so you never apologize for wins regardless how they come. I'm loving the ride we've been on and next year should get even better.

The lambs and the whiners have rough schedules too - they have the Seahawks on the docket.
