Why I now refrain from gameday chat... one thread was like "Our Dline is non existent, they didnt show up...." With 7 QB hits and over 14 pressures... 120 yards on the ground with two players and one who is... honestly amazing and I wish we could trade for.

"What is wrong with our offense" literally 2 minutes into the second quarter... Yet here we are with a 37 to 9 win.. It's insufferable... Love you all, but the knee jerk during the game is literally nuts haha


Colts are almost looking like a gimme at this point.... Lets see is Sam can dial in like he did and pull the ball and run etc against the rams. I feel like we were able to finalize a method for the constant pressure especially that the Rams will hand us.

Love gameday forum. Sure the hot takes can be nuts but who isn’t a little nuts when watching your team. Personally I like it because I used to watch football around other fans so I could discuss (rant) to people who understood (even if the rub didn’t agree). Now I watch with my wife and kids around and they just don’t get it so it’s nice to vent a bit to other fans watching the same game even if they look dumb in retrospect.

The gameday chat is mainly for venting the emotion of the game … by its very nature it’s knee jerk and most of the “hot takes” do not survive the passing of time.
my own 2 cents on the threads today: A) complaints on the D line were not really seeing what we were doing on defense before the stats piled up.
B) complaints on the offense during 1st half = very justified given what we had seen from the recent struggles vs LA and MIN. But I would say that as an active participant in said venting

Yes the insinuation from one was that as we hadn’t sacked Cousins (by this point) the line was getting no pass rush. Was ignoring the fact that Cousins was either immediately dumping the ball off or throwing the ball away in a panic before he got levelled most of the time

If you’re seeing them in real time though they probably did have doe hood back to back plays. It’s frustrating to watch an offense make plays on our defense but if you try to look back on them sure they look crazy.

Defense gives up a few first downs in a row and you’ll see a post frustrated with it. You see us run 3 straight negative plays and a punt and you complain about the offense.

If you take it as a whole though there are all kinds of people posting. Many different views. Some work out others don’t but they are all more feasible in the context of what is happening right then.

Like others have said Game day chat, is just for those knee jerk reactions, hot takes, some so stupid they make Skip Bayless and Stephen Smith look other worldly intelligent.. others are pretty good and Funny with the insightful ones sprinkled in. It’s a roller coaster and while tensions can run high, in the end we’re rooting for the same team and are passionate about it. Trust me I say stupid shit frequently there lol. Overall it’s great to go back and read the posts and have a laugh

This is true across the fan base. My Rams Game Day Chat is live and man does it get negative even if we are playing great. Yesterday's chat was brutal negative the whole first half or so while we were scoring on about every drive.

I even asked some of the complainers how they felt at the end of the game, but I think some people get more joy in complaining so they didn't answer.

Yeah, I don't do the game day chats either. Occasionally I'll text a couple of friends during the game, but as a rule, I'm too busy multitasking, either keeping an eye on the Red Zone or my fantasy team while watching the Hawks.

But I do have to sympathize with those who were bitching up a storm in the first half. I was right there with them, went outside to do some things at halftime and missed the kickoff return. I didn't even realize we had scored a TD for several minutes after I had returned to watching the game.

I never go to the Gameday chat except to see the overreactions but also there are threads on other games, too, which are nice reads.
