OK...Another thread talking about old times brought me to thinking who here has been here and since when? I know the little part on the left states when everyone started, but I know that's not accurate because the system changed at some point and that's when we had to take new start dates.

If memory serves me right...I started back in either end of 00 or beginning of 01.

Who else....Todd..sorry you don't count man being the father of the Net..with much respect of course!

Also...fondest memory of the Net...for some reason..the napkin comes to mind. Anyone recall? For all newbies...feel free to chime in because you're family here too!

.NET actually started after the likes of seahawks98.com so Todd would have a consistent URL. It originally linked to the old Seahawks board connected to the AFC West War Zone. Again I’d need to check with Todd to see exactly when .net stopped being just a Seahawks news site and had its own forum. I’ve been here since before Todd ran the forum. It’s been quite a ride

Oh wow! Like you my deep memory is a little cloudy. It was somewhere in the 00's, early on. I might have been here for 1999. My screen name has been changed a couple of times because I remember one iteration demanded a 4 character name, so I had to change it. I've been sutz for most of the time. Still have a rather ragged jersey with my screen name on it, don't wear it often.

Early 2000 after I found myself in the southern U.S. and needed some PNW Seahawks connection. I've been here off and on (mostly on)
ever since. Hawkstorian is the 1st Person I remember interacting with.

Under this name I just joined recently. I was here back in the 2007-1012 timeframe under a similar but different name. Life came, had no free time. Can't remember my password so I rejoined once things calmed down under this name.

I started on these boards before it was .net. Back in 1998 a guy by the name Daniel Chang hosted the NFL boards with all the teams have individual boards but somehow they were all linked. (Not sure if that makes sense, but I’m not an IT person). Through the years I’ve had many different usernames and being stationed overseas I would deploy and forget passwords and such and create new accounts. I remember Cheinhill and Barthawk in the earliest days, but I believe both have passed. The Aros came in and took this to another level.

Barthawk is still around but rarely posts anymore. He sold his season tickets this past year like I did. Sadly, Cheinhill passed many years ago. He was a gentle Soul who didn't say much but when he posted, you listened.

I still chuckle to myself whenever anyone refers to a player as mannnnnnn.

Sometimes I'm tempted to say that a player signed... a parking ticket, but I always assume nobody will know what the hell I'm talking about.

For all my Jalen Milroe bashing, I fear I will never hate him, or any man, as much as that one guy hated David Greene. I'm a Seahawks/Buckeyes fan, with an ex-wife who was a Michigan fan. I don't hate Jim Harbaugh as much as that guy hated David Greene.

I know I'm alone on this, but I miss that guy with the hot girlfriend who used to post revealing pictures of herself in skimpy Seahawks gear. I think she left because nobody liked her. I'd be all "damn, you're not ugly", and everyone else would be like "put on a sweater!".

Since Seahawks98.com. My initial user name was PatS (which is my real first name + initial) but that was too short for one of the iterations of dot net, so I became GeekHawk because I am a technology geek (electronics/electrical/nuclear). And phonemically (is that a real word?) it kinda sounds similar to SeaHawk.

I know, mannnnnn got a lot of play here back in the day but anyone who came after that era wouldn't know what the hell we were referring to, lol.

I remember that guy who loved showing off his girlfriend. And I recall we didn’t mind it too since those were the days when Shack allowed rated R pics.

I remember finding Aros's original site in late 99 (could that be correct?). Lurked for a long time as this was the best location to get most up-to-date stuff. Joined a couple years ago.

I joined officially in 2009. I probably found the site years earlier. I remember the post game summaries from the TABS. I think that’s what he was called. I loved reading these!

Damn. You guys were around when the internet was still blowing up itself. I've only been around off and on (different user names) since right before the Mora year, so 08/09ish.

Any of you guys have to use dial-up to talk Hawks football?

Old username started posting in Aug of 2012, when I moved back to WA and needed more reliable Seahawks coverage.
