Show me anywhere between now and the end of game 2 where you wanted Castillo to start today instead of Kirby. Or other fans saying that. TBH it doesn’t really matter what order they go in, both are on full rest.

And he couldn’t pull Kirby in time when he gave up the 5 spot in that inning. It all happened so quick, bullpen wouldn’t have been ready and going to the pen by inning 3 could lose us future games.

At this point, down 4, i would just leave Kirby in and not waste the pen, we have games Thursday and Friday.
