I had thought I saw somewhere that Darnold had a 92.7 PFF grade.

But I was told by someone here that it was 91.9.

Well here :

Me so confused.

ARe the PFF 91.9 and the 92.7 different types of grades? (My brain hurts)

Fascinating list. They're all retreads who started with organizations that have consistently failed to develop young quarterbacks over the last two decades, including the Jets, Giants (unless you have a Manning), Browns, and Titans.

Yeah that’s his Week 3 grade. The 91.9 I posted were ratings averaged for the first 3 weeks where he was rated #1 in the league for the first 3 weeks (before MNF)

AH! So that's where the 91.9 came from.

Thanks for the clarification.

Yeah - I looked at the names and thought what is this list I'm look at? These were the highest graded QBs? Crazy. But good for them.

It's starting to be a trend and not an outlier. If somebody like Anthony Richardson was willing to admit that he needs a lot of work to make it happen, he should ask to be traded to the Rams, 49ers, or Vikings. Be the backup for 1-2 years, then go get your next starting job.

PFF seems to be useful for some positions, and utter hore$hit for others. QB grades usually seem reasonable.

Josh Jobe had like a 48 grade against New Orleans. He looked like the best player on the field to me and a few other people that I trust.

Also, none of Seattle's front 7ish players scored very well, the same front 7 that held Kamara to under 2.5 YPC. That's just plain nonsensical.

It goes to show you that the NFL is a team game. Building a team is important for any QB to develop.

It could also be misleading to assume the ratings in OP are for this season when they are only for a single game. But I sure would enjoy seeing Darnold post that number as a base for every game we play.
What is the highest number possible?
