Hawks haven’t started 0-2 in a while. Not liking how this is shaping up. Let’s see…

Everybody in the division is 1-0 except us.

Rams face the Titans. That’s a win. 2-0.

49ers face Saints. Most likely a win. 2-0.

Cardinals face the Panthers. Win. 2-0.

That leaves the Seahawks. Facing Aaron Rodgers’ home debut. I don’t like the smell of this game one bit. We are staring down the barrel of 0-2 unless we play a great game on all sides including coaching.

Must win this early in the season?

You bet.

If we lose, we are two games back with 15 left. We also have 5 games left with divisional opponents. I suspect every team in our division will have a two game losing streak at sometime or another. If we lose this Sunday, we are just getting ours out of the way.

Do we need this win? Hell yeah.

Must win? I’ll be in solid minority with a no.

Did everyone forget the broken record of "If only we had won that one game we should've won towards the beginning of the season, maybe we'd be in the playoffs/have a winning record". I don't forget, it happens ALMOST EVERY YEAR NOW. So YES, this is a must win. EVERY week is a must win. I'm sick of "well they needed a reality check"

Just how many reality checks do they need to get right?! 49ers game was a game we should've won. This game against the Stealers is a game we should win. If they can't win the easier games like these first two, then they might as well just stop the hype because I won't be able to take them seriously; and I'm sure people will say it again towards the end of the season:

"We should've won those easier games, then we would've been in the playoffs"

No not yet but if I see no improvement on last week this team is in big trouble.
Probably the most important thing today is showing improvement over last week, especially in the run game. 3.2 ypc isn't gonna cut it if you want to "emphasize" the running game.

I don't see today as a "must win" game, not when I could easily see us getting to 2-2 in the next few weeks if we lose today. I do, however, tend to see next week's game against the Saints as a bit of a "must win" IF we lose to the Steelers today. An 0-3 start would not bode well for our team from many different angles, especially after losing to the lowly Saints at home.

Not a must win, but definitely a weather vane game that will show us what direction this team is going. We're going up against an average team with a number of injuries to starters on the defense. A bad loss will be a terrible sign.

Probably more important to get the run game rolling. Win or loss. Need to build the foundation early in the season.

Nope. A must win game is a game that you must win or else you're eliminated from playoff contention.

Obviously we don't want to start 0-2, but we're not eliminated from playoff contention if we do.

After some thought - yea, this is a must win.

If we don't see some pretty major improvement in playcalling, and we lose this game, honestly I'm gonna check out for a month.

I REALLY bought into the pre-season situation and hype - and honestly last week felt like a punch in the gut.

Not impressed so far. And I really really wanted to be.
