this was terrible. This was more vanilla than PC has ever even had under him. What the hell did they think? Zero Tes. They used the FB a handful of times. Mainly All Charbs and JSN. I can fault JSN, if he’s your go to guy for pass plays .. yeah cover him lol. 😂

Kubiak … Kubiak is ass. There was zero creativity, zero everything I don’t even know how to explain it. Walker looked entirely unprepared tbh.

Vanilla playcalling isn’t even accurate to call what we saw out there. What’s below vanilla playcalling?

Dude, it wasn’t even vanilla. The trick plays were utter shit. It was just absolute trash play calling.

This was gross. We got bait and switched. Unless they're saving the real creative stuff for after the preseason when the games matter...

My favourite was the "trick play" where they had Darnold roll out left after sending everyone right on a misdirection, and then immediately threw it right back across to where all the defenders were.

And of course they lost 8 yards and started the series 2nd and 18.

We've completely went to the other end of the spectrum. One extreme to the other. Grubb ------------Kubiak.

No kidding. I was like where the F are the fullback plays. Got K9 boo-b-doo-ping it and scatting for zero result.

NOT what I was expecting from KK.

I started scratching my head on the first drive after a great pass and 5 yd run. WHY bring in Milroe for a run up the middle that was so obvious? Zero gain and now you're 3rd and 5. Felt very forced. Charbs up the gut would have at least had you at 3rd and short I would think. We had a chance to grind and build momentum and it fell flat. Several plays felt "cute" and not at ALL the power running game we've been sold all offseason. Better change quick or we will see a lot of these frustrating type games we should win but just can't play complimentary to the defense. I'm shocked.

yah, it felt too early to go to the Milroe play. The first drive and the offense trying to get in a rythm.

Bingo! It was like Kubiak knew why Grubb wasn't brought back and made sure he wasn't gonna try anything down field.

That garbage was a Costco vat-sized 50 gallon drum of vanilla.

Why draft two tight ends in the last two years but never use them?

We need a big bodied WR because Sam only has eyes for JSN and although he had a good day, he needs to hold onto the damn ball and plays small. Kupp looks slow and Tory was invisible.
