All indications are he's playing tomorrow, correct? This will be a good early challenge for our D.

I remember during the week of XLVIII I made a comment about what would happen if Manning got injured. I then got a PM from Radish saying something to the effect of that’s not the kind of message we are trying to portray here. Even though I wasn’t wishing an injury on Manning, I got his point. Some people just hold themselves toa higher standard.

Would that be a hock toa?

it’s only a joke related to the multiple or reoccurring “calf injury” CM battles with.

Make no mistake, CMC will play, but not at full strength. He will be at best 3/4 of what he can do. Our defense will humiliate him and the 49ers' offense.

He may have a good game today and can even have a good year. But last year was the beginning of the end of him being an elite running back. He’s 29 years old, which costs you a step on its own. Then add in the calf, and that takes another tick. Every carry, the team and fans will be holding their breath to see if he gets up.
