I remember during the week of XLVIII I made a comment about what would happen if Manning got injured. I then got a PM from Radish saying something to the effect of that’s not the kind of message we are trying to portray here. Even though I wasn’t wishing an injury on Manning, I got his point. He may have a good game today and can even have a good year. But last year was the beginning of the end of him being an elite running back. He’s 29 years old, which costs you a step on its own. Then add in the calf, and that takes another tick. Every carry, the team and fans will be holding their breath to see if he gets up.
