After 7 grueling months…

Seahawks football is back baby!!

Hope springs eternal for all 32 teams this time of year. Everybody is undefeated. Dreams of January and February football abound. Why not us?

We Seahawks fans have every reason to feel optimistic heading into the 2025 season. Two fantastic drafts back-to-back, a cerebral, no-nonsense head coach, a defense that can be argued will be Top 3 this season, and an offensive line that by every metric has improved significantly and in my estimation, an underrated offense in general.

The 2025 Seattle Seahawks are primed to be that dark horse team, outperforming the national narrative of mediocrity.

Let the games begin! Of course it’s hyperbolic to say this is a must win game. Mathematically it’s nowhere near, but tone setting? Absolutely.

Divisional games are always tougher and almost always closer than we want. I do not expect us to walk all over the 49ers Sunday but I do expect a sound defensive performance that limits their explosiveness, and a solid running game to sustain drives and eat up the clock, ultimately wearing them down.

Seahawks should prevail, regardless of by how much, setting the tone for the season to come.

Alright, here we go!

Sam Darnold baby! How’s he going to do? How is this new offensive line going to look? How about Emmanwori?? So many exciting question marks, so many possibilities!

Unfortunately, it all comes crashing down in one pathetic whimper on Sunday in front of a majority of 49er faithful. Their fans will jeer and taunt the home fans as if they accomplished something, leading to several hurt feelings and bruised egos in the parking lot.

Coach Macsexy will have no answers after this debacle.

Here and there
I think the media wants us to think the Niners are the favorites because they have a few stellar players. I personally think the Niners are very beatable week 1. Niners have an easy schedule, but won't find us so easy come this weekend. Thus said...

I like your prediction. Sounds about right.

Do I want it to be 42-3? Sure do.

Last second field goal makes the game look closer than it was.

31-7. All the 12’s go home sad…..

….because JSN’s third TD of the game was nullified by a dumb ass penalty.

Niners sold quite a bit of equity and loaded up on rookies. Trying to fix the cap. The qb got paid. It's a detriment to team to do that. That being said...one has to laud the superstars they have developed.

They Seahawks have a well chronicled restaging themselves. I wanna see the upgrades to the defense shine. I need to see this new approach to more blockers in Kubiaks system pay off right away. I like my coordinators on the field and not in the booth. I expect this will be a good hands team with athletes. I expect the TEs to make a difference.
