That was a fun watch/listen, thank you for sharing.

I’m shocked he has this defense #1.
They’re going to be a good unit, top 10, potentially top 5 if they really get all 3 levels playing together. But #1… we shall see.

Offense at #24 makes sense. A lot of us have that first half against the Chiefs at the forefront of our mind, but the truth is the O line is still average at best as a unit. Now, if Zabel stays healthy and their hopes at right guard and center come to fruition, then this could possibly be a top 15 O line, which would be great compared to past years.

A lot of these national pundits point to the loss of Metcalf being an issue, but the truth is, I think this offense will be better off without him. Trying to force the ball to an inconsistent body catcher just wasn’t working. I like the unpredictable nature of having JSN and Kupp lineup anywhere.

Darnold is a big question mark, but we shall see how this plays out with Kubiak.

Overall, I truly believe that the arrow is pointing in the right direction for this team. We’re fortunate to have coach Macdonald, and I’m very excited for most of the young talent on this team.

Go Hawks

I have hard time believing the #1 defense. Better than last season? Hell yeah. Crack the top ten ? Very possible. But better than Denver or Baltimore ? Gotta prove that on the field. If he winds up being right, I will be first in line to apologize to his Ouija Board, crystal ball, or chicken bones.

Who the eff is Sheil Kapadia?
And where the eff did he/she/they/ come from?

I have no clue, does he/she/they have ANY cred?
Sheil Kapadia is an NFL senior writer for The Athletic. He previously covered the Philadelphia Eagles for The Athletic and for Philadelphia Magazine's Birds 24/7 site. Sheil also covered the Seattle Seahawks for ESPN.

Based on his article, he understands defense but he is well-versed on offense.

Thanks, do you give him any credibility in terms of this specific article?

As long as key players stay healthy for the most part, the D will be pretty damn good. Whether 11th ranked or 5th ranked, we are sure to be entertained this season. If higher than 5th, then insert "very."

Love the #1 callout but the 24 ranking is way off IMO. Unless major injuries occur I think our offense is going to punch a lot of suckers in the mouth and run down their throats.

Too 10 is more likely.

I drafted them for my fantasy team, for what little that's worth. (Nobody from the offense, in case you're wondering, which you're not.)

Brethren, the floor of our 2025 defense is top 3 in the league, you should not doubt it. Even the haters, ie media pundits, experts, reluctantly give credit where credit is due.

How can we don't win NFCW? How can we not play in the conference championship game?

Has a team ever finished 1 on D, and yet finished 24 overall in wins? Seems like great Ds at least carry the team to the playoffs generally
