That’s cool. Just a capture of history.View attachment 72748
Okay, this one wasn't nearly as iconic as your last, but this one was big way back in the day. Joe Namath leaving the field with his #1 finger pointed upward after the upstart Jets from the upstart league upset the mighty Colts and Johnny Unitas. This, of course, followed Namath's chill poolside pic days before the game where he guaranteed victory against the overwhelming favorites. I had a Joe Namath poster as a kid in my room growing up. LOL
It’s funny when people get caught making a funny face like she is…. Is that Michelle Tafoya?
Poor little Robbie, that’s the day he learned about man strengthNolan Ryan beating the hell out of Robin Ventura
and Robbie would get sooooo mad when people asked about that - probably still does. He was a redass of the first order.Poor little Robbie, that’s the day he learned about man strength
Dang that’s not like today!!!
Awesome picture
Pretty much the greatest moment in baseball. Strictly because of how mad he got when anyone asked about it. Another true redass!
Wow I didn’t know he was made about hitting the bird. What was the result of the play? I think it’s more improbable than getting hit by lightning. Absolutely astonishing moment in sports. Another mariner connection tooPretty much the greatest moment in baseball. Strictly because of how mad he got when anyone asked about it. Another true redass!
