Spytek is a rookie GM. He really needs to humble himself and learn from other established GMs in the league. If he does, he will soon discover that linemen are often over-drafted and overpaid.

As is, PFF liked their OL more than ours:

I'll go out on a limb here and say the team with the most wins at the end of the year.

Seahawks

You know what is really crazy? Why hasn't Cross been offered an extension by now?

Also, the Raiders may be looking to upgrade that right side of their OL.

No real need. JS doesn't like to do it too early and for good reason. I'm sure conversations have been ongoing but they can still use their 5th year option. He's steadily getting better but not irreplaceable at this point. He likes to wait unless some sort of major injury occurs. No rush to get it done at this time.

The Schneider Doctrine!!!

Our franchise won't accommodate or deviate as long as John Schneider is the General Manager.

There is no one on the roster that can replace Cross so at some point the Seahawks need to spend money to retain their talent.

We will draft an OT in round two or three, play him some as LG this season. When Cross's contract is up, the draftee will replace him. We must control not to overspend on OL.

Easy question. Hawks win 10 or 11. The Faiders MIGHT win 8.

Better season: Hawks
more improvement, since they only won 4 games, probably the Las Vegas Disrespectful Red Zone Picks
Huh?

The Faiders won 4 games last season, not the Hawks.

I'm talking amount of win total jump. Raiders will jump more in their own win total. Hawks will absolutely win more and be a better team.

Hawks win 9-11 games, imo.

9-11 games?

In THAT division?

Bold strategy, Mr. Cotton.

I just don't see it working out that way but who knows?

We are clearly not communicating here.

I'm saying the Hawks will have a better SEASON, as in a BETTER RECORD.

I'm also saying the Raiders will have more of a WIN TOTAL IMPROVEMENT from THEIR OWN 2024 TOTAL.

AH! Okay.

Thanks for clarifying.

My communication was full of interference......Damn Bunny Ears antenna! 🙃

and I guess as far as the Raiders go, what you're saying is that there is nowhere to go but up since they will more than likely win more than 4 games this season. (yeah I agree with that)

I think Tom Brady (not Spytek 'cause it's really Tom running things) made a big mistake in not going after Darnold who could have been a long-term answer for them, but instead goes for a short-term bandaid in Geno.

I mean they could still draft a QB of course but you just never know how those QBs pan out.

At least with Darnold, he's already since proven he is (at the very least) a serviceable Starting QB (who is young enough to develop into something more).

Oh well...their loss is our Gain. 200

This year Pete will get between 6-8 wins out of them. But then year 2 get 7-10 and then they start making the playoffs. What Pete does well is get players esp new ones to buy in. And he will cut the fat and be on his way. Remember what he did with Seattle.
