Because it hasn’t been done yet for all we know the plan that TB/ John Spytek have is to only play Geno for one year as a short bridge QB or perhaps the Raiders are offering Geno less or the same that the Seahawks did

I think Geno may be finding out he's not as much of a Hot Commodity for the Raiders as he thought.

Raiders may have Cap Space but it seems like they'd want to save a ton to shore up other positions of the team (and that team has holes everywhere).

I would laugh so hard if Geno ended up with close to the same deal Sam got.

I get you, but I don't think Geno would have agreed to anything unless something was guaranteed. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
