Haynes is suited for this type of scheme, I get the feeling this staff feels they can really work with him.

Sundell is a very good fit for this scheme too but he's probably more a year or two away.

I think we will draft two offensive linemen

Zeitler for 1 year may be good insurance too.

Sounds like Fries & Mecari coupled with OLinemen with 2 of our top 5 draft picks would be the prescription. Otherwise it's just take two more aspirin.

Well, I recently saw a clip of a sumo wrestler in a ring with NFL players making them look like weaklings, so that's the market we should focus on for our OL: Japanese sumo wrestlers.

Fries would make me giddy (assuming his injury has healed properly).

Jenkins and Zeitler would prob be an upgrade, but not pro-bowl level.

Becton would improve our run game...which opens play action. But I admit seeing Forsythe get crushed last year makes me skeptical on tall lineman and their leverage challenges...Becton didn't seem to have that issue.

FA's after that are highly speculative.

Fries + draft seems like the best option. For me, Becton is intruging to what he could do for the run game...sounds like he may be headed to Indy.

Fries can be overpaid, and that would be great.

Look at who is out there right now available? Not much. Get Fries, who the hell else should we spend our money on right now? We suck at drafting O line, so let’s spend where we need it most. Darnold will be huge downgrade if he doesn’t have protection. He will be a potential upgrade if we do.
