I was told yesterday by an opposing teams radio announcer that he has great practice ethics and his arm is spot on. No duckish throws. All perfect spirals. So get him a target and see what he can do.

Wondering if JSN will ask for a trade now.
We just signed a guy that needs a special helmet to fit his head, throws a football like it's a sho put , and at the halfway point of his career, has had 1 season that wasn't a disaster.
If McDonald came right out and said, " settle down Hotchy. We're still gonna draft a QB in the 1st 3 rounds. Flynn, I mean Dalton, I mean Darnold is just a bridge" I'd be able to sleep tonight. My fear is they believe in him as the face of the franchise going forward.

All those things could have been said about Geno except having a good year under his belt.
Yet somehow no one left the team. Not even DK when he won the job.
This kind of hyperbole is so over the top.

Geno and Sam have very similar traits. Strong arms, accurate but can make dumb decisions. Good Deep ball throwers.
There is one difference though. Sam plays well under center and Geno seems to prefer shotgun.
So maybe this match with Kubiak makes a lot more sense.

I, for one, approve of this signing (not that the Seahawks really care). 
Definitely glad they took care of business on day 1 and didn't drag anything out or wait too long. Appreciate the workman-like aspect of the past several days. May not agree with all decisions, but they aren't hesitating or waffling.

I like Darnold a lot better at $35M per than what I assumed would be $40+. This extends our bridge so we don’t have to do anything desperate for a QB. Keeping Geno would have put us in a crisis at the end of the year if whatever understudy we got this year didn’t pan out.
Now we can stay in the “buyer’s market” for three more years. Dart is a lot more attractive if he drops into the 2nd than if we felt pressured to take him in the first. And if a QB doesn’t line up as BPA where we pick? No problem. Assuming we pick up at least one IOL FA before the draft, we’ll be in perfect position to let the draft come to us.
