I'm excited for some reason but I was excited about Grubb so who knows. If Geno is on the roster I seriously hope Kubiak is all in and already sees stuff he can do with Geno. Get them some line help and see what happens. I think the running game takes the biggest leap though.

Not only that, but someone should also turn it into a DK or Russ bashing thread, all in a Geno thread. Or it's everyone BUT Geno who is at fault. Make it happen. I mean, it never does.

I'm curious if they bring in a fullback. Seems like something he is into. It would be a lot of fun if we got a new Mack Strong or Mike Rob. And if they did, who'd roster spot would he take ? It could help out with our 3rd and short issues.
Heard parts of the interview on Bump and Stacy. The staff is discussing this very topic, including using current players like TE and other RBs as the FB. Said while they might consider using Murphy, he will NOT be the starting FB. ;)

Anyway, I guess Klint has used the FB in the past and the Hawks are now discussing the best way to fill that role going forward, whether it be in the draft, possible FA pickup, or using an existing player/s. Nothing says committment to the running game like using a precious roster spot on a FB. :)

I am expecting the Hawks to sign Adam Prentice who was a full back with the Saints and is a UFA

I wasn't excited about Grubb. TBH I was much more excited in the beginning about Schotty and Waldron.

When I first heard he was coming from college with no NFL experience - I was very worried about a pass heavy/air raid type of offence that we didn't seem to have the OLine for and that's what we got.

I like how Klint specifically mentions "We have to run the ball. We have to have multiple ways to win". Translation: "**** that dead guy!!!! I'm not going out like that!!!!" Surprised he wasn't wearing a little button with 'Grubb' and a red ghostbusters slash through it!

:)

Good first interview. We'll see what happens I suppose -

The thread would be like grief, wrapped in disappointment, wrapped in regret, and then RE WRAPPED with hope! All in one!

:ROFLMAO:

Anyone else find it surprising that Macdonald was the one to introduce Kubiak to the press? I would've thought that was Schneider's job.
