Incredible game called from him tonight. Completely carried the defense with Sam who gave up another 500 yards to McVay. Brady couldn't stop gushing over Klint all night and the way he kept his foot on the gas against a really good team. Some fantastic design. I have a feeling he is on his way to a HC job next year.... unfortunately for us but great for him.
I’m sure he will go. And we will have him back in two years. Cause all the teams that still need a HC are total shit.

I guarantee you Darnold does not take that team any farther then Geno did.
He probably doesn't have them in the playoffs, but they likely don't end up with the #1 pick and Pete Carroll likely still has a job.

It's not like Mac was all that experienced when he took this job. Hell, hed probably tell Kubiak to take a HC job if it's one he feels good about. It's not always guaranteed better opportunities will come by later.

If Kubiak takes the Raiders job he'll be one and done in Vegas. That franchise is an incompetent, dysfunctional mess. Right now, at this point, that's the worst HC job in the NFL. There is sooo much more wrong with that franchise than just the fact that they have one of the worst, least talented rosters in the league. The leadership and decision making from the owner and front office is beyond horrible, and it's been that way for a long time.

If there was ever a franchise in professional sports that desperately needed to burn it all down and start over from scratch (including, and especially the owner), it's the Raiders.

Eh.

I think Darnold is waaay better than Geno and would've probably had them in Playoff Contention, especially with how bad the AFC was this season. Maybe he would've had them win 10 games but he probably would've been one-and-done (again).

Glad things worked out the way they did.

Asst Head Coach and a raise, that and his brother already with drew consideration from jobs current list of openings is the Hell Franchises of the league. Better to wait with ciurrent trend of one and done ownership if you don't make the playoffs and firing if you can't win once your in the playoffs, even if your coaching your ass off with b+ players competing against A+ players.
