And we will never know what was offered to Fraley. Could have been a nice deal that Detroit matched.
Could have been an offer of some stale Rainier beer and peanuts as well. And we will never know what was offered to Fraley. Could have been a nice deal that Detroit matched.
If you feel like assuming the worst. Sure.Could have been an offer of some stale Rainier beer and peanuts as well.![]()
Love the idea of drafting a qb if one falls right, but Carr ? Nah. Carr = Geno 2 : The Horror Continues. You will have good play and then throw an INT that boggles the mind. He is just another tease, just like Geno. And they will probably want a crapload of money. See if they can trade Geno and a pizza to the Raiders for O'Connell even. There is a good chance NO cuts him. He knows the offense and is far better than Geno when healthy. Cut Geno, draft a QB to learn from Carr this season.
What Geno is going to step into I don't want to sniff. His decision making really frustrated me this season. I do hope you're right and I'm just being difficult. It’s actually a pro style, turn key system for a guy like Geno Smith to step into. I sniff 12 wins minimum guaranteed
You actually think Derek Carr is better than Geno? That is flippin hilarious.Love the idea of drafting a qb if one falls right, but Carr ? Nah. Carr = Geno 2 : The Horror Continues. Seafood. Our seafood is better. He has acid reflux and couldn’t handle New Orleans spicy food.I can’t wait to see what he can do!
Honest question though..
Why does a guy make a lateral transfer like this? Did we more than likely offer way more money? I could see if we had a young, talented QB who could propel Klint to a HC job in short order but we obviously don’t.
The Saints fired their HC during the season as a result he was looking for a new opportunity since the new coach, whomever it is, may want to bring in his own staff.I hope this is a good hire and am willing to give him time to get his system up and running, but this is a bit concerning:

I get that there were a lot of injuries but the fact that he left after one year is troubling.
The main problem is that they haven't invested in a Chevy Suburban for the o-line to take turns pushing around during the off-season. Like Walter Jones did.Not my favorite choice but I trust MM. I just hope something changes in the OL process. Scouts evaluation, JS reluctance, Steve Hutchinson recommendations, coaching development. What ever the problem is!!
Maybe, assuming Geno gets a lot of practice learning how not to get tangled up in retreating linemen's legs.At the very least, we're going to see a lot more under center and play action. That's a big improvement.
The way I read the summary of his history on .com is that he has been short term everywhere he has been. He's enjoyed some success, to be sure, but for some reason that didn't ever seem to translate into a long run at one location. Is that a good thing? The Saints fired their HC during the season as a result he was looking for a new opportunity since the new coach, whomever it is, may want to bring in his own staff.
