That was one of the ugliest wins I've ever watched, but a win is a win.

Having said that, I vote we never talk about this game ever again.
I’m on board, as long as Macdonald and Grubb and Harbaugh keep having nice long talks about it.

These types of games are character wins, ugly, mistake ridden and the team and players know it, but they gut it out and came out on top. Learning how to win against adversity will help them big time in the future, knowing staying the course and each man stepping up can still get a victory. Heart attack games for sure though, not how you want to look week to week, Chiefs are doing a lot of this also.

When that game ended, I felt like doing the "la la la la" fingers in the ears thing. It never happened.

Yeah, and Krieg released that pass just as Thomas was closing in for his 8th sack of the day. :)
The way I remember it, Krieg somehow shrugged off sack #8 by Derrick Thomas, and escaped to unleash the throw to Skansi for the game-winner at the buzzer.

Pretty horrendous reminded me of the game against the winless Buccaneers squad in our Super Bowl winning season.
I remember that one as the game that:
* The Hawks Made the Bucs backup QB look like an All-Pro
* Doug Baldwin single-handedly rescued the Hawks with a couple unbelievable catches in critical situations

In addition, there was also the "Shoeless Dick Sherman" game against Houston that season that led directly to the SB48 win. (Sherman's pick-6 for the win) I say that because the 13-3 record gave the Hawks HFA for the NFC. At 12-4 or 11-5 the Hawks have to go on the road

Man, if we would've put up that performance against 28 other teams, we would've gotten our clocks cleaned. Luckily the Jets are one of maybe 4 teams where you can overcome mistakes like that. Have no idea what was going on with the special teams today. But a win is a win and I'll take it! GO HAWKS!
One the negative side the Jets make almost any opposing team look like a sloppy mess. On the positive side they seem to lose despite that.

I had the misfortune of being at the Bucs game. Flew up to the game from California. I was absolutely miserable during 4/5th of that game. It was horrible.

I think the Bucs QB was Mike Glennon, looked like an All-Pro HOF candidate in that first half, like 21-0 or something Bucs. What do you recall?

EDIT: Found the highlights.

EDIT: And the full game.

The highlights were mostly lowlights. I remember sitting there with my wife in disbelief. The Bucs were beyond horrible. I think it was the jump touchdown pass that was the height of my agony.

I was at that Bucs game -- with a Bucs fan. (fml) That was uglier.

I also present the ugliest tie ever:

And the ugliest loss ever:
That overtime tie is when I believe the rest of the NFL realized that Russell struggled against the two-high shell look.
The Rams had Russell's number for a long time before the Cards and then the rest of the NFL caught on.
