He's really a fun player to watch. He clearly is a tough dude, and he has that swag, big time. This team needs that swag.

If you haven't, check out FG's All-22 report this week. It focuses on the rookies. Barner had a sack-saving block that was pretty great. Haynes doesn't look hopeless. Murphy is coming along.

And Knight looks like a real find.

GTFO...that cannot be correct. It would indicate that JS/MM possess talent the board has clearly stated they lack. This could be a barrier getting rid of both before the season ends.

Can we acknowledge that the interior offensive line has been a horrible mess but he's also nailed some picks, even though some needed a bit of time to develop?

It's not a simple story. Both criticism and praise are warranted.

You would've thought a really good center coming off a knee injury from last year would be an upgrade, sometimes timing is more important than making what seem to be good additions and finding out halfway through the season it just wasn't the right time
So many things have to go right for an owl it's mind boggling , I guess that's why a 3peat is so , so hard to do cuz EVERY year the timing of things coming in and going up and down and out is almost completely unpredictable
You just gotta keep trying cuz you can't win em all but I do believe JS is pretty close to being 50/50 or possibly ahead on draft picks n trades that have worked over the last 2 years , which is really , really hard to do judging by the rest of the nfl
Perhaps someone with more time than a small business owner that puts in 12 hour days can chime in lol , just askin for a friend
Fingers crossed but the last 3 weeks against better than most competition has been a nice change of pace compared to the first 3 weeks followed by the next month plus

I'm kind of torn. I like AJ Barner and think he will continue to progress. I do feel he got thrown in there too early for as much as he's playing because of all the injuries. But it's only going to help him progress. A friend of mine, he's a GB fan and lives on the east coast, hates the Seahawks and rarely watches our games but even he said Barner is going to be a stud after he watched him play Detroit on MNF. He's only gotten better since then.

AJ Barner's rookie year is certainly trending in his favor. While showing valuable versatility along the way.
