AJ Barner mystery--Amazing AF!

So here's a question (though many will think it ridiculous): Why is it that he's called "AJ" when his name is actually Albert Frank Barner, V (yes, the fifth). And I would say "AF" would be a much more awesome nickname for him. I want the announcers to yell "AF" after he makes a play, as in, "That was amazing AF!"

But what a find he's turned out to be. A fourth-round draft pick in 2024, he had 52 catches for 509 yards and 6 TDs this year after only 30 receptions his rookie year.

Most likely stands for Albert Jr., even though he is a 'V'. My nephew went by CJ even though he was the III. It was what his dad always called him.

Grubbs had to appease DK and get targets for Lockett and JSN, so in his mind, Barner was a developing rookie, and let's be honest, many of our Tight Ends have been misused for quite a while.
Kudo's to Kubiak for getting the reps in there for Barner, especially since JSN's prolific breakout last season, not to mention using Kupp's savvy to his advantage.
I suspect that even with JSN's 'get after it' next season, Fleury will be scheming & utilizing Barner and the Tight Ends a lot more.
I am pumped for next season's go-around.
