Lucas was our best tackle in his rookie year, in yesterday's game, he was still the better tackle.
Bosa got a new injury during the game because Abe man handled his ass.True, but Bosa was dealing with injury himself and took himself out of the game. From what I recall, Bosa only got around Abe one time for a QB hit.
Yea...Cross is good until he gets off balance, which more often than I'd expect. On the other side, Cross's butt hit the turf a few times.
The numbers look good. Let's build on that. In this game I saw blockers engaged with d lineman. If we can get the same out there for the rest of the year workingIn his first game back, Abe Lucas was already the best offensive lineman on the field yesterday. He got a pass block grade of 73.4 and a run block grade of 79.0. Olu has a pretty impressive run blocking grade for the day. You can see the sharp drop-off with Jerrell on pass blocking. (His high run block grade is misleading due to the small sample size.)

Bosa came into the game with a hip pointer injury.Bosa got a new injury during the game because Abe man handled his ass.
I'm happy somebody took it to Bosa finally!
Now he also has an oblique injury.Bosa came into the game with a hip pointer injury.
I love watching Lucas block. He is truly a master technician. I’ve always thought he’s better than Cross or Wright (both drafted #9 in first round).
Yes, I saw that, too. I think these grading systems are a bit subjective or maybe just difficult to apply.Re Ole's pass blocking grade in this thread. Strange, I saw a tweet today where ESPN gave him a pass blocking win on 27/28 plays
In charbs defense, he hasn’t been used to anyone blocking on the right side all season so he must have just been confused. His sack was a result of Charbs missing Bosa and blocking Lucas instead.
