Remember this: I heard more pundits calling the Ravens the best team in football last week and Lamar as the clear front runner for MVP. What happens next? They get beat by the 1-6 Cleveland Browns.

Just some perspective.

Too bad we don't have an owner that gives a shhh
Well she cut ties with Pete maybe she pulls the trigger on Schneider if he doesn’t have a legitimate answer for what is wrong with this team…🤷‍♂️probably won’t but I never though Pete would be let go either … so you never know

The ravens looked like a professional team at least

The entire franchise of the Seattle Seahawks from the GM, All coaches , players all the way to the towel and water boys are to be held accountable for that display they put forth on the field today …. Nobody gets a pass today …
Won't happen.

"It's Genos fault" NO Its the LINE etc
"It's the line" NO it's JS's fault for drafting them.
"It's JS's fault" NO PC made him draft and sign poor players.
"It's PC's fault" NO He's gone and isn't on the field so you can't blame him.
"Okay, It's the coach's fault" NO they are new and have bad players . . . .

That's how it works here. There are pockets of people that always shift the blame and a few "everyone gets a trophy and no one is EVER at fault" fans that would never blame a single player or coach for a single thing ever.

You’re right, that’s the second time I did that. Shows how much they’ve called Karen reed’s name this year
Reed has been one of the few consistently solid contributors out there and he is the epitome of the term team player.

Everything you said is absolutely true...
I just watch MMac's post-game presser. I like what I saw from him. He called out the problems and took responsibility.
It was a schitt show of a performance, combined with some schitt-for-luck. I think ultimately this game is a turning point that focuses the team.
We'll find out next week against the Rams. That's why the braintrust brought MM here, Pete couldn't Com-Pete against McVay and the Rams. MMacs turn.

Pete Carroll did a good job at disguising the lack of talent we have overall

This is a group of disjointed players. Too many guys collecting checks and nobody holding anyone accountable. We need a big change somewhere behind the scenes. If coaches aren’t getting through then the players need to come together and work this out.

Disjointed? I never played or coached ball, I did have the pleasure of managing 20 something old top class super nerds. Talented people are hard to manage, especially after they got rich. In my case, the before IPO was not easy, the post IPO was close to impossible

Most of our players are multimillionaires, they are by definition very talented and very rich, they are hard to manage. When they felt like your scheme and style is hurting their future income, they became unmanageable.

In all seriousness, it would be beneficial long term for this team to have an owner that truly cares. Doesn't need to be a Jerry Jones meddling type, but we had it too good with PA. RIP, Paul.

Firing everyone isn’t going to solve anything. This forum presses the fire button way too often and way too quickly.
Agreed.

That's why I took a couple of days off .Too many knee jerk reactions here after a loss.
Just look at the comments after the ATL game and the same people 7 days later want to run off the coaches and the GM. It's hilarious.

I've been guilty of it to some extent myself at times but recognize the error of my ways
and now Im taking a much more measured approach. I have to patience because I remember this exact scenario after Pete Carroll had been here a COUPLE OF SEASONS.
Not eight games !! WTH 😆

Brand new head coach, new coordinators, position coaches , with a new scheme
which they might or might not have the right players for.
The GM is in his first season running the organization yet his detractors are lumping him in with the former man who ran the team.

You can't tell them anything different, they won't hear it.

GTFO with your reasonable posts and your time-off. You need to suffer and overreact like the rest of us.

And - When you aren't here there is no one to water the plants.

Thanks brother. I've suffered many years OState!! Haha

It just kind of gets to me after awhile . I'm not trying to tell others how to think , although it might come off that way. I just see people being unreasonable and holding MM and JS to a " you must win this year and go to the Superbowl" type level of success. There are going to be some games where everyone is feeling good and then there are going to be some Buffalo Bills type games . It comes with the territory. Buffalo is a damn good team right in the middle of their window . Well balanced , well coached with a great QB. If I had to guess , they'll probably be competing to go to the SB if they can stay clear of injuries .

I personally don't see how going after MM/JS could in any way make things better .
If Seattle is having games like this into his 3rd season ? Yeah, something probably needs to be done regarding the leadership. But I think he'll be successful if given the time and the personnel he needs to run things his way.

It won't happen this season.

Exactly this - all of this. First year coaches across the board. Secondhand players - added a few that may or may not be long-term - the lowest paid Oline in the NFL. In my book they get this year and next year to get headed in the right direction. Next year we need to see some improvement and consistency. A solid direction forward if you will. I have watched a shit ton of bad Seahawk Football over the years - I can stomach this for a bit.

Exactly.

I can see a huge turnover after this first season. I predict some surprise departures. This team is essentially Pete's leftovers.
