Fant placed on IR today. Curtis was signed from the PS to fill the slot

Also 2 LB we’re elevated for the week.

By rule both DE- Bowser and ILB- McConnell revert to the PS.

Somehow I doubt you can sign a player from another team's IR, even if it's the PS IR.

I might be wrong on that, but I'd wonder why any team would want sign a player to their active roster for a minimum of three games if that player was at that time on PS/IR for minimum of 4 games which is how long the player would need to be on IR.

The team is looking to find some reliable depth at NT behind Hankins, they have added and let go of a number of players at NT as they look for guys they like. At present now they also have Gotel who they liked last year when he was healthy.

As the planet theory goes there are really not a whole lot of very athletic very big men on the planet so sifting through and keeping the ones that have potential seems to be a good idea.

Both Bohanna and Gotel are zero technique linemen. Offering depth for odd man fronts behind Johnathan Hankins.

I totally enjoyed the too brief time of Al Woods playing zero technique.

Good times ahead.

For MNF, teams can make their roster moves on gameday, so there won't be any PS call ups Saturday.
