Narveson is a beast. He had an unrealistic amount of distance to spare on that 59 yarder and booted a 57 in college.

Their starter right now is Nick Folk, who has converted over 90% of his attempts in 3 of the last 4 years with his 2022 year still being good at 86.5%.

Whichever kicker the Titans decide to cut when they go down to 53, I want them.

Truth.

As I said earlier...

Two teams played 60 minutes to decide which team has the better kicker.
Titans do.

There might be competition for him, I'd imagine a team would have to make a minor trade to actually get him. I'd be totally fine with giving them one of the Hawk's 7th rounders.

Myers must have some compromising photos of Schneider.

Hell, I think the dead money is enough to be a dissuasion. Hard to justify spending even more on the spot, and Myers has been okay in terms of actual results... he's just... frustrating and nerve-wracking

I'd still dump him for whichever Titans kicker becomes available, even if we have to trade for them.

I'm expecting it to be Folk. That young dude they have looks like a decade-plus cornerstone for their ST unit.

They really need to take a good look at alternate kickers after this season. At the very least some competition would be nice. Why does he have a free pass when nearly everybody else has to work hard not to be replaced?

Go for it, Seattle can offer him a large paycheck with the money left from dumping their old and weak kicker.. He misses too many Extra Pts, and is consistently off center with them even when made. Reiterating how much we waste on a kicker.

Because in the NFL kickers are only allotted so much cal space and when you sign them to a new deal they aren’t going anywhere unless they totally fall apart or get hurt.

I think over time though these new rules on kickoffs will see more injuries and they’ll either adjust the rule or teams will start having a backup plan at kicker.

Again, Myers carries $9m in dead money. We have to keep him for now.
Actually, wouldn't it be a post-June 1 cut, which Spotrac shows as severely decreasing the dead cap hit and actually saving 100k on the cap?

58 yarder. Myers making his case. I'm sure he's read this forum and is responding to the critics on the field.

That’s the problem with him. Just when we think he’s awful he looks awesome. Just when we think he’s awesome he looks awful.

Rinse and repeat.

Myers has been money. 7 for 7 in preseason FG's. Nails a 58 yarder and 48 yarder tonight. Dude missed 2 preseason PAT's. JFC. he's fine
