They should, though. The head coach should always have final say. He's the damn head coach.
Interesting. So does the majority feel that structure has worked in Seattle throughout PC's tenure? Has that structure worked out in recent years with Belichick? It's a question I'm not sure has been answered definitively. Is the scenario where a HC has all the power the most successful setup?

Update: The Seahawks have unofficially requested HC interviews with all surviving members of the 1972 Dolphins 17-0 team.

Obviously a joke, but it does feel that way.

D00d, Norm Evans. 🥰
He went to the Pro Bowl twice: one time after the Dolphins' undefeated '72 season and then again after the '74 season. He was with the Dolphins in three Super Bowls in a row (VI, VII, VIII), and they won the last two of those.

Evans is now 81 and was an offensive lineman in the NFL in the '60s and '70s, so there's approximately zero chance he's even lucid at this point, so obvz not a head-coaching candidate.

I just wanted to mention him because the Dolphins didn't protect him in the expansion draft, so he ended up going to the Seahawks, playing in 36 games for them (starting 25), and he founded the Seahawk Report, which ended up being really important for me growing up in Maine as a Seahawks fan who didn't know any other Seahawks fans. My parents wrote to the Seahawks and asked if there was any kind of Seahawks periodical to which they could subscribe for me, and the Seahawks wrote back and told them about the Seahawk Report, so I had a subscription. I'm pretty confident it was the only one in Maine.

Jody already contractually agreed to give JS a legitimate shot at 3 years of full GM powers. If she reneges, good luck on the Seahawks finding decent executive or coaching hires for the next 20 years.

If JS fails over the next 3 years, Jody can go whatever direction she likes.

Ejiro Evero is the first interview today. Quinn is scheduled for tomorrow. Raheem Morris on Friday.
I hope for my birthday Friday there is no announcement as I am not interested in any of these 3 guys and want either Ben Johnson or Bobby slowik

Was the Seahawk Report in a newspaper format? I think that may be the one that I subscribed to back in the day. Not in Maine though. In upstate NY. I would receive it about a week late, but it was better than nothing.

Every single person on that second interview list doesn't excite me in the least.
More than likely giving everyone a second interview given Pelissero's comment about more coming.

Feel like they're interested in some of these guys as coordinators, either this year or down the road.

Not real thrilled about any of them either. Morris would be my favorite if forced to pick
