Oh boy again anyone know why Kelenic isn't higher up in the line up yet? Why is the DH spot ahead of him? Lmao.

I wish they would quit chasing those shitty pitches for once.

I think Servais doesn't like moving people around in the lineup because it can throw them off their game. He took his time before dropping JP to nine.

This ^^^

Plus Kelenic has shown to be potentially very fragile mentally in the past. They are doing their best to handle him with kid gloves and give him as long a successful run as possible before making any changes that could put any extra mental stress on him.

This is Kelenic 3rd year....there's really no reason to have the DH spot ahead of him but whatever good win. Marco > Flexen.

It's his 3rd year, but it's also the first time he's seen any real sustained success at the plate. He was horrifically bad last season. I wouldn't mess with what's working just yet.

I think they should move Kelenic up to 5 spot, baby steps.
Dude’s average has to be about .400 against lefties.
That’s some left on left violence right there! 👍

He’s staying on the ball mostly, and not pulling everything like last year.
I can see actually as long as his centerfield/opposite field approach stays the same that hitting balls the other way would actually be easier.

The guy is locked in right now and it’s great to see.

I'd like to see them commit to Caballero at 2B. At least for awhile. You can always reassess after like 10 games or whatever, but from what he's shown so far, he deserves a shot at being the every day second baseman, IMO.

Cab is already the better option at 2B.
