I don't necessarily disagree, but unless we absolutely suck this year, which is unlikely after we beef up the D line, how are we going to be in position to get one of those guys in '24??This isn't the only draft that will have top QB talent. It SEEMS LIKE we have high rate QB play in hand. But we desperately need to improve our defense so whatever QB we have has a chance to show his goods are the real deal. I would like to see us work to position ourselves for a high pick in '24 and get out defense fixed this year. Otherwise whoever we pick at QB will be in the same situation as Fields was in Chicago.
I think the guy from Tennessee is every bit as good as Levis or Richardson and maybe better. But the best fit of all of them will be available in '24.
