Looks like Eagles-Bengals in the Super Bowl at this point if you ask me. I just don't think the rookie quarterback goes in to The Linc and beats the Eagles next week. Joe Burrow and the Bengals are playing with a lot of confidence, and Mahomes is going to be hobbled, if he plays at all.

Yep, sounds about right. I thought the 9ers but the Eagles will be way tougher of a test than the Cowboys, even with their decent Dan Quinn D. Bengals look like they are on a mission to win it all, and they very well might.

Yep, Niners are gonna' get their teeth kicked in. And Cincy is the best team in football right now imo.

Cincy over Philly, unfinished business for Joe Cool and the Bengals.

The Eagles are trash, and AJ brown is hurt.

The niners will beat the Eagles, they have the D and the Eagles D is bad.
AJ Brown will be fine. They also might get Avonte Maddox back this week which is big for them.

Purdy looked quite average against a legit pass rush at home this past weekend. The Eagles have a better pass rush than Dallas from a depth standpoint and will be at home. I think Purdy folds.

Purdy took only two sacks against Dallas, but you’re right in that his passer rating went way down to about 85. He seemed to take more time going through progressions, too.

Philly just needs to take away the quick slants and it's game over. Was shocked to see how many times he hit an easy, short, middle of the field completion to extend drives all night.

I think Dallas run D is better than Philly. Commanders had no problem running on Philly.
Commanders also held the ball for literally 40+ minutes and even then it was still a 5 point game with :05 left. Eagles also didn't have Linval Joseph, Suh, or Jordan Davis in this game IIRC.

Context matters but if there is a spot where the Eagles can be attacked it is over the middle as their LBs are less than stellar. If they can get Avonte Maddox back this week to his slot position off injury and can put CJ Gardner Johnson back at free safety to patrol the middle a bit, that'll be a massive help.

Also Jonathan Gannon (Eagles DC) has a philosophical process of just not allowing the big play. So if you want to run the ball on 2nd and long for 6-7 yards, you'll get that more often than not. So I think it's skewed a bit.

Regardless, it's going to be a slugfest and will probably come down to the last possession or two but I think homefield plays a giant role in the game whether it be early with Purdy or late....but I think that'll be the difference.

It truly is a game between the best two teams in the NFC.

^ Agreed. These are the two teams that should be in this title game. And I feel the same about the AFC side of the equation. I think SF is going to have to get pretty creative to beat Philly on the road. But they are capable of such creativity. They played Dallas pretty close to the vest last week. I was expecting some trickeration involving McCaffrey and was surprised when none of that happened. Were they saving it for Philly? I won't be surprised if Purdy catches a TD in this game but I'm not sure that will be enough.

The teams are fairly evenly matched so I'm just going to take Hurts over Purdy for the win. 27-23.

Hoping for Eagles Bengals but I think the chiefs are getting in for sure..toss up on the other game. Just hoping the steering doesn't become the story.
