He has played well this year but he doesn't have the "it" factor.
I didn't realize making the pro bowl = overall team successdude made the pro bowl
seriously wut?
and while I agree, I hope it is another team that pays him$30million in 2023 is fair market value. Like it or not
Admittedly the play calling has been abysmal, but Geno isn’t the long term answer. He is a placeholder. The problem is we aren't play calling like we expect anything of him.
We seem to think the way to win is running the ball up the middle and then ask Geno to bail us out in third and long when the defense is going to blow up our line.
So did Quandre Diggs.dude made the pro bowl

I think this was always the case solely based on his age. If you sign him (regardless of actual contract length) its a 2 year window, 3 max, during which you ideally select his replacement and sit him for a year ala MahomesAdmittedly the play calling has been abysmal, but Geno isn’t the long term answer. check and mateSo did Quandre Diggs.
this right here. Sign him to a friendly contract and draft your QBOF.I think this was always the case solely based on his age. If you sign him (regardless of actual contract length) its a 2 year window, 3 max, during which you ideally select his replacement and sit him for a year ala Mahomes
My issue is this: When our offense was getting called like Geno WAS the man, we had one of the best offenses in the league.Admittedly the play calling has been abysmal, but Geno isn’t the long term answer. He is a placeholder.
To me… screams Pete and handcuffs on Waldron. Pete panics when the tiniest Tina don’t go perfectly and prefers comfortable and stale. Like Ten years ago.My issue is this: When our offense was getting called like Geno WAS the man, we had one of the best offenses in the league.
Then we got obsessed with making our running game work in a way it hasn't worked all year and now our offense sucks.
