Awful showing for the first playoff game at home in 21 years. So glad I didn’t pay $400 to sit in the upper deck to watch that garbage.

Overall a successful season, but man that’s a tough way to end it. The team needs to find a corner outfielder and upgrade at either 2B or SS. Could also probably find a better DH option.

To the off-season we go. It'll be interesting to see what they do to improve the club. Need some more dangerous bats, clearly.

Should be a very exciting offseason. Mariners aren't afraid to spend money. Correa would be a good fit.

Santana, Frazier, and Haniger all becoming FA. Flexen definitely getting his club option picked up.

Forgot that Suarez was taken out the game in the 9th. Lol. SS threw in all his chips in the 9th. Another backfire.

Obvious player personnel changes must be made. Need a rock solid closer, a solid starter, and some impact bats. Need to spend some big $$$ in FA.

Easy to say after the fact. At the time it looked like the right move. Pinch running for a good hitter is always a tough choice.
"At the time it looked like the right move" uh no. That's my whole point. The move made borderline no sense. Suarez was our best hitter all series he led the team in average. Replacing him with Moore was a dumb move.

I was scratching my head, like where was he? I mean he was our best hitter.

Like I said in the previous post the holes on this team are obvious, hopefully money will be spent to fill those holes with quality talent.

As disappointing as this series with the * was, The first step has been taken, they made the playoffs and won a playoff series. Now the ownership and FO must take the next step and spend the big $$$ to improve this team.

Agreed. They need to learn the lessons from the past and invest in continual improvement. There's a load of good players available in FA.

I do not regret dropping coin to go watch this game. Yeah they lost, but damn those young boys played their asses off against a loaded team. 18 innings, yeah I got a doubleheader for the price I paid. Wish they would have won, next year.
