Things must be bad in DC. Kinda makes me wish we played the Redskins but am happy with the road we have to travel.

They like to play some cover 3. I get it. Doubt he is more than a backup plan.

Does Washington signing Cary Williams save Seattle any money?

IIRC, some contracts are written where if you cut a player, and someone else signs him, they are responsible for that part of the contract. Unless of course they sign them after week 17, maybe I answered my own question.

Yes, I believe you answered your own question. Once week 17 passed, we'd already paid him for the full year. If they'd signed him prior to the final game there would have been a slight cap savings.
