Playoff home game??

What needs to happen to have a playoff game in Seattle?

I heard there is a possibility of having a home game

Can't happen. All playoff games are played at home of highest seed. Since Hawks are lowest seed in the playoffs (6th seed), there are no scenarios where the Seahawks play a lower seed than themselves.

When the Hawks had hopes of getting the 5th seed there was still a chance of a home playoff game because they could have theoretically run into the 6th seed in the NFC championship game

One of two things need to happen:

1. The NFL decides to expand the playoff format to eight teams per conference before next Sunday, and then all the top seeds lose, or

2. Wait 'til next season.

Impossible. Maybe it's better that way.

Not possible hon. We're doing the Pittsburgh thing or if you're younger the Giants and David Tyree. Yeah, it's going to be epic. It'd only be better if we lost to Arizona last week.

We're going to beat the best on the road just to beat the best in Santa Clara. It's the best 30 x 30 ever conceived. And Seattle's ticket into the big boy club. Can't you smell the fear?

The designated home team gets uniform choice, but it doesn't have to be their home uniform.

Still, Santa Clara is on our coast and will be closer for us than any AFC team that makes it, so that might factor into how many fans show up (unless ticket prices eff everyone over again).
