The battle at WR is gonna be tough but don't sleep on Devin Fosselman out of Jackson State. He was recruited to the SEC but ended up at JSU. Devin is a compact tough to bring down willing blocker with good hands and speed. He can help on ST also! I don't expect him to make the final roster but could hang around on the practice squad and could challenge for a spot next year.

Also, listening to DC Kris Richard on the radio, he said that they were testing DLine on where certain players are suppose to be set on defense on certain plays. And they even asked about CBs.

Richard said that Reed not only was the first to answer but he even knew where CBs needed to be.

Reed is going to be awesome. Hes going to make a difference, hes probably the most excited ive been about a pick just coming into the league labeled to be an immediate starter.

I'm all in on following along with the kid from the village of Fagatogo in American Samoa. I still have really good memories of my time in American Samoa.

MacEvoy could be our answer to one of our biggest weaknesses on D, covering TEs. He has good coverage skills and the size and speed to stay with most TEs. Add in his ST ability and I think he can stick.

Any one person can make the roster if they want it enough.

McEnvoy has something no one else has... Elite Length × Athleticism.

I feel though his best role with his all-around experience would make an elite STer especially at Gunner.

Ricardo Lockette with size and defensive experience.

If they all want it than no.

Absolutely. I won't argue that he can make the team.

But what does anyone really know about him beyond youtube highlights? Had anyone really heard about him before Saturday?

But elite length+Athleticism just sounds like Jameson Konz to me at this juncture. And there were a lot more spots on the roster unclaimed by established players when Konz was around. There are only so many spots on the roster.

My opinion could absolutely change in the future, and positive or negative, will change during the preseason.

I'm not trying to belittle him for being undrafted. But we are only a week removed from the draft. It makes you ask why he wasn't drafted and another player was.

Sounds like Nkemdiche to me, minus the baggage.

Stand outs I am hearing from various sources . . .

Reed
Boykin
Collins
Lawler
Adams

Physically Ifedi and Odhiambo look the part, and Hunt standing between them does not.

Lawler's my guy! He really made an impression on the Coaching Staff on his first day!

In case you missed this tidbit from today.

One other interesting UDFA in camp is Wisconsin’s Tanner McEvoy, a versatile 6-foot-6, 230-pound athlete who played receiver, safety and quarterback in college, and for now at least, is lining up at safety.
Carroll called McEvoy a “really unique player,” and that the Seahawks will “start him on the defense side and just see what happens from there.

He can dive and get a booboo, then we stash him on IR.

I'll state the obvious.... how did Doug Baldwin go undrafted and yet make the team and become one of the best players on an elite team? How did Thomas Rawls go undrafted and make the team, then become the heir apparent to Marshawn Lynch? So, we mere mortals haven't heard of McEvoy before...obviously the team had, and their opinion is really the only one that matters after all.

Doug Balwin and Thomas Rawls weren't getting the kind of pub i have seen in the Seahawks fanbase a week removed from the draft as what McEvoy is getting now. The roster was also in a very different place when Baldwin was signed which allowed him to get featured.

Very interesting. And concerning, but not at all surprising, regarding Poole. Maybe it's just me, but since watching his "highlights" last year, he seemed like a perpetual two-horsepower motor with no real rev-it-up ability. Starting to wonder if the Poole pick = a swing and a miss.

Colossal swing and miss, IMO.
