I don't understand the need to necro old threads. If you want to review a thread from the past, you should post a new topic with a link to the thread (IMHO). This makes it more difficult to find the correct threads when you go back in time and review old posts.

There was recently a discussion where people were trying to find Russell's original draft reaction thread, but it hadn't been bumped in ages so it disappeared off the forum because it was too old. It's interesting to review old threads but, if they aren't bumped, they'll disappear. So I don't have a problem with bumping old threads like this one.
