Peyton Manning
Drew Brees
Aaron Rodgers
Tom Brady
Dan Marino
etc
None of them had a proper nickname
And Joe Montana will always be Joe Montana - but when the game was on the line and the team needed him to step up, he got that look in his eyes and right then, you knew he was Joe Cool
When Wilson has the ball and it's TD or nothing, you better watch your back, because that boy is DangeRuss
I think both Brees and Montana share the nickname "Cool", if I'm not mistaken. Not to detract from your point. But for me, Dangeruss is just too good to pass on. The others wish they could have such a moniker. How about "I'm with the lady" Brady? "Dunce-cap" Dan? Peyton "our dad cut a deal with the devil" Manning?
