Thought about re watching that debacle, but never have followed through. I know Jeremy Stevens played a huge part in losing the game but the overriding impression for me was the NFL refs directed the outcome in favor of what the NFL media machine wanted. I don't plan to rewatch that game until the Hawks have a SB trophy securely in hand. I was so pissed off after that farce that I didn't go online for a couple of weeks. I distinctly remember wishing a Stealers fan would have provoked me face to face. Good thing that never happened, I would still be incarcerated.

I have the "Seattle Seahawks NFC champions " dvd. I remember The last time I watched it was the day after the Atlanta loss in January. I knew It was the only thing I could watch that would make the losing to the Falcons not seem as bad. That 2005 team...They were a grind it out team. Scrappy. After watching what SB...this is the team that's going to make all that football heartache and pain worth it. From that grind it out team to a team that will hit you in the mouth over and over. Then grind it out.
I honestly think it makes this season that much more special. The last time this team was a favorite at this point in the season was the 2005 season. Btw the 2 shows on demand are the Americas team the 2005 Steelers and highlights from SB 40. It's weird to see how different the Americas team show makes it seem like the steelers put their foot on the gas and just didn't let up. The highlights of SB 40 mention the tricky tacky *to say the least. Officiating.

I think there's a chance I could make an attempt to watch it after we win a Super Bowl. When I do, I'll just be more angry at Jerramy Stevens than the officiating. I've tried to block out that game, but the way I remember it is that if Stevens catches a few balls in the first half, it is a blowout. The only call that really bothered me as the hold on Locklear.

I did this last year and mostly regret it. But, if you are into mental S&M like that, you can use nfl's game rewind. Has last 2 seasons plus every Super Bowl.

I worked in a bar/casino at the time so of course are the TVs were all tuned to sports channels, so I had to work all night watching replays over and over for hours. It was a nightmare.

The one that really got me at the time, and completely changed the game, was Rapistberger's rushing TD.
No way that ball crossed the line.

I think if Hasselbeck gets sacked before he throws that INT to Ike Taylor, we probably win that game. Score was 14-10, field goal makes it 14-13, so at worst we should get the ball within one score unless Stealers get a TD wit two pt
