Derrick Coleman Arrested - Vehicular Assault

Being deaf, it's kind of understandable that he may not have known that he hit someone because he didn't hear what happened. Being held without bail means someone was probably killed. I hope and pray that he wasn't drunk or high and that this was just a terrible accident.

The other driver's collarbone was broken in the accident. Derrick Coleman supposedly got out of his truck and walked away from the accident. Was arrested nearby without incident.

Is nearby on the sidewalk? Or a few blocks away? The without bail apparently was because a Judge wasn't available at 1:30 AM.

SO things may not be as bad they seem. I hope not, I don't know the guy but after all I've read he doesnt seem the type to be a deviant.

Walking away indicates one of two things in my OPINION

1) He was under the influence

2) He hit his head / or similiar

People FREQUENTLY act very strange after a car accident. I have seen a person just randomly walking around the highway that we pulled off before he walked into traffic. He was about 50 yards from an accident that he was in. I read about it afterwards and it is not that uncommon

Or the car was undriveable

If your intent is to leave the scene of the accident then yes this is a plausible reason and then Coleman is either dumb or he tried to leave it because of 1 or 2

I wonder if they'll bring back Daniels? Although our FB spot is covered with Tukuafu, Coleman excelled at his special teams role. That might be something where Daniels could fill the spot, at least for now.

Once i read he wasn't injured all i could think of was.. well if he wasn't under the influence to make his body relaxed enough to withstand that force then what else , and when I read that tweet it made complete sense.

Won't lie detectives got their work cut out.. because other than falling asleep i dont understand the cars got their placements.

My scenarios: Did he fall asleep and drift in to oncoming traffic (it doesnt look to be an off ramp thank fully)
did he fall asleep and drift over go down a hill? hitting the other car taking it down the hill with him? Only reason I think of that explains why both cars are flipped. But pretty amazing they made it through those trees, one seems to have damage, but not the closer one.


EDIT: How much can he actually hear if anything at all??? Maybe he walked away to seek help, because being deaf (idk how much) a cellphone besides texts won't do him much good... Short distance away could have been a house nearby, its not like he ran back to his own house or peaced out completely
