Pete needs to look himself in the mirror.

Geno could have easily thrown 3 picks today. Last week a few were dropped too if I remember correctly.

He was loyal to a fault to RW and it likely cost us a SB.
He should Stop coddling and have some accountability.
I reluctantly agree with you.

Geno could have at least 10 more INTs this season than he does. Well, a solid 7 or 8 anyways. It's worse than the numbers even.

Pete protected RW from criticism to the bitter end.

He'll do the same for Geno.

That's just the way he rolls.

I’m no Geno hater. Who the hell would hate their fave teams’ starting QB.

I want him to succeed and kick ass. I wait for football all week. Every month. Every year.

But if I screw up at work I’m not coddled. I have to fix it. If I can’t, someone else will and should.

I root for him too, it’s not fun though

Imagine hitching your wagon to Geno Smith?

Couldn't be me.
Okay, so "Mr. Know It All" WHO would you have fielded as Quarterback that the Seahawks HAVE HAD A SNOWBALL'S CHANCE IN HELL of acquiring, that wouldn't have looked just as SHITTY, playing against this Ravens Vaunted Defense?, yeah, I didn't think so either.
OVER ALL, the Seahawks were outclassed, ACROSS THE ENTIRE SPECTRUM in this game.
Try being HONEST....for a change.

For the draft, I wanted,

1) Stroud
2) Richardson
3) Levis

Could have easily moved up for 1) or 2) and could have got 3) with the #20.

All 3 have showed great potential. You have to at least TRY to find the QBOTF or you're going to be stuck watching games like today while hoping for a WC and out season.

Instead, we're all stuck rallying around Geno and praying he doesn't f7ck shit up too much each week. He's had 1 good game (Det), 1 passable game (CAR), and 6 piss-poor to atrocious games this year.

Oh yeah, it's not his fault.

LEAVE GENO ALONE!!! :cry: :cry::cry:

Man , they were battling right to the end. Lots of positives to take from this game.
We'll have to look at the film during Tell the truth Monday. We'll shoot some hoops during competition Wednesday and talk about it during circle jerk Thursday.
I see this isnt your first rodeo.

But remember, NFL teams dont need franchise QB's that cost money. They only need game managers because Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl 70 years ago.

Seen ol' Petey Pete's post game press conference from today? I've watched many over the years and I have to say the man looked rattled. Sorry if someone else has posted this , please feel free to merge or delete.

I think today was the type of ass kicking that he wants his team to be able to do, especially with run game both on offense and defense. The Ravens didn't really hit on many big plays, it was a collection of dominant runs for 6+ a carry. Those runs completely defeated the Seahawks defense by the fourth quarter. Then on the other side, the Ravens DL and LBs were blowing up any attempt at a run play. Those guys only got more motivated as well as the game went on too. That type of one dimensional domination is what Pete wants and I think watching his squad get their teeth kicked in that way was tough. Given how the season has gone, I would think a healthy Chubb/Watson/Conklin probably is a loss last week too.

Couple that with Geno seemingly regressing and tilting the field negatively with his turnovers, today was probably an eye opener for him on where his team stands. It's obviously a long season and there is genuine talent on this team, so a solid win next week can help course correct. But there are certainly cracks showing in their vision of a long playoff run and a really good Ravens team served a giant bowl of humble pie.

I watched the pressor and Pete Carroll said "Geno isn't the problem". I know a lot of the .net community will disagree.
I really don't know what to think . Geno
Smith to my untrained eye seems to be at least SOME of the problem. He hangs on to the ball , wears his heart on his sleeve so the other team will obviously see it , and like others it's hard to see him putting the team on his back and lead them down the field.

This loss isn’t all on Geno for sure. OL sucked, defense fell apart early, Waldron called a really poor game, etc. But QB’s generally take the fall and my main concern is Geno hasn’t taken the next step to say “give me the ball we’re gonna go execute and play our game” when things don’t work. He seems to actively compound the struggles rather than break the team out. There have been multiple instances this year where he just flat out can’t get anything done - luckily the D has kept them in those games except for Rams week 1. All the bad Geno traits start coming out; poor footwork, poor accuracy, bad pocket awareness, forcing bad decisions. If they caught those 3 dropped interceptions, it’s probably a 50 point game for the ravens.

Those issues, him being captain and as you said seeing his poor emotions/demeanor on the sideline, and a payday to be the guy are all reasons I think most fans are frustrated with him and looking for a better answer. Team will be competitive, probably make the playoffs, but another early exit ass kicking feels like the outcome unfortunately.
