I just came here to post the question: "How in the hell did Zac Stacy not win the starting RB job in preseason?" Does he suck in practice? He looks like the offspring of Jerome Bettis and Thomas Jones out there!

I said it the day of the Griffin deal, the Rams are more of a long term threat than SF. Awesome D, that's getting better, a ground game and enough picks to be very flexible in this upcoming draft. Hell, they'll probably be positioned to grab Manziel without even trading up. And I hope that happens actually. I don't see Manziel having long term success in the NFL and that should retard their growth for a while....it takes a considerable amount of time, and losing, for GMs to give up on 1st rd QBs.

A lot of us Ram fans are wondering why we didn't start Stacy at the beginning of the season. They had faith in Richardson to be a #1 after good production last year behind SJax, but he showed this year exactly what he is, a change of pace back. He can't run up the gut worth a darn but has good speed on the outside. Stacy is a beast and am glad he finally got a shot to show his stuff, Only wish he had his chance sooner.

That is assuming Seattle is relevant in the long term. Sooner or later Seattle is going to have to pay all these superstar players that are making sub-one million dollar a year salaries. That is when the draft comes in to play and why most teams do not stay relevant for long periods of time in this day and age. Unless you are the patriots and have the weakest division in football for 2 decades.
