Seahawks had one job. Fixed it for ya.

The rule is based on player control of the ball. If the ball is moving in the players hands when the ball contacts the ground, as was the case in this instance, it should have been ruled incomplete. Had the ball never touched the ground it should have been ruled a catch even though total control was not gained until the player was rolling over.I don't understand it either. Then on air rules guy even said something like "it hit the ground and didn't move much." Either it didn't move at all (which I guess is their reasoning) or it moved a little and it wasn't a catch.
I don't care what team catching the ball - the ground shouldn't be helpful in making the catch like it was here. Why are announcers always looking at slow motion replay and talking about relievers getting their hands under thr ball between the turf if it doesn't matter if it touches the ground?
I think this is that old "Burt Emanuel" rule. If the ball touches the ground but does not move it's a catch. I was looking for any sort of movement, rotation at all after the ball touched the turf (pleading for it to be honest) but couldn't see it and realized it was going to be complete.someone has yet to explain to me logically how that wasn’t using the ground to assist in the catch.. therefore making it incomplete
They are in because the Seahawks didn't beat them earlier in the season.Rams are trash and there gonna get annihilated in the playoffs. Their team is complete garbage. There in because the NFL higher ups have a hard on for the Rams for whatever reason.
I'm with you on this one...but I would add ERIN to that list.Unfortunately - there are a few that are ranked.... McVay.... Both Harbaughs.... Mahomes....
But it's a tight race......
100%!I'm with you on this one...but I would add ERIN to that list.
