If I remember one thing about Rivers, it's that he could generally get the ball out quickly. But it may not help much. I thought this was a stunt. Now he's starting? I wouldn't want to be part of the Colts offense on Sunday.

I think the Colts are going to treat this game like a preseason game to get Rivers ready for their last three games. If he plays, it's to get him acclimated to the speed of the game. THIS, exactly this. It's not like he's been practicing at all to get back in the game the last 5 years. It takes a while to get back into game shape, especially after 5 years. I have absolutely no doubt that the Seahawks will win by 25+ and rest their starters by the 4th.

You missed the entire point. I wasn't saying Rivers is on par with Brady for skill, just that a 43-and-a-half-year-old guy won a Super Bowl, and furthermore, still played at a pretty high level at that age, and it's POSSIBLE Rivers could look pretty good against us.
