I will be there Wednesday. I've never been to a weekday day game so should be fun.

I'm not a Mariners fan as I'm a Canuck and legally obligated to be a Jays fan, but:

F the Yankees.

F Judge.

That is all :)

Thing I want to see more this series:

I want to see Cal, Julio and Naylor get on base more. Cal for sure less strike outs. I want to see Gilbert go deeper in the game and Keep Donovan at the top of lineup.

That's why I'm really iffy on the whole WBC thing. It disrupts spring training and doesn't allow the kind of rhythm the guys need and can only get by playing together.

Meanwhile, though, Julio had a key RBI single the other night. Cal had a big double over the weekend. It's early and feels like they might be coming around. Tough Yankees series starting tonight, though. Would love to take 2 if we can.

These early games can feel kind of meaningless, but in the new playoff seeding system, these have important implications for tiebreakers. Yankees are another team with likely playoffs aspirations, as usual.

They do sorta feel meaningless except it’s two teams we won’t get too many opportunities to seize tie breakers over. These are big games

Yikes. This ump is having a rough night. Yankees are 5 for 5 with challenges in the first 4 innings.

Yep. It'd be nice if we got more than 5 innings out of him, but very solid start regardless.

I'm amending my previous comment.

6 Scoreless innings against the Yankees is a damn good outing. Great start from Castillo tonight.

Cal with the walkoff RBI.

Young doing work.

Julio still chasing.

Garver can still walk it like nobody's business.

Donovan a niiiice addition.

Always feels good to beat the Yankees. Did I hear right? Is this the only time we play them this year? Need to win this series.
