The answer to the main question of the thread is what I consider a "no brainer". Absolutely. RW is dangeRuss with a bad OL, he is still able to make big plays in the passing game each week on a consistent basis. With a better OL protecting him, he could be more devastating. Especially when you realize the weapons he has around him. Better pass pro may mean that Zach Miller is able to go out as receiver more, then Rice, Baldwin, and Tate become more valuable threats. Add in Kearse to that. It also helps Lynch and Turbin become more effective as well. They can be threats to run or catch passes from the backfield. RW is very intelligent, that's the biggest asset he offers. He can use that intelligence more effectively given more time which is what better pass protection would do. Right now, he may not even have time to think since he's running for his life. It's more reaction. Russell, IMO, would be a Drew Brees' like passer if he had better pass protection. That's a great thing.
