Not true. (Necessarily.) You can tell a lot about a book if the cover has unintentionally bad spelling or grammar, bad artwork, or if the author's bio shows he(she) is a moron. Most bad books I have ever experienced didn't get read in their entirety.

But yeah, I think it's quite obvious it didn't matter what Russell scored on this test. To anyone with eyes and a brain, he is a great QB, and protects the ball nicely. Makes great decisions. Incredible athlete. Don't give a damn about his score on a test that really doesn't matter.

I don't know what the wonderlick is like, but if they wanted a good test for QBs, it should probably only involve things that involve football. It should probably also include a large section that covers problem solving with a strict time limit. Some neurosurgeons estimate that there are BILLIONS of forms of intelligence, each mapped in a different area of the brain. If the wonderlick is asking questions about chemistry or electronics, I'd say they have a pretty stupid test, because those areas of the brain will never be accessed during a football game.

That's exactly what the Wonderlic is. In many ways, it's a speed-of-processing test - exactly what you'd want to test a QB in.

I'd also seriously question Teachers scoring an average of 28. My wife was a teacher, so I've met a ton of them in social and classroom settings. They're not any more intelligent than the average person; better educated, yes. But's it's also scary how low the intelligence of the average person is.

I suspect being a good QB involves having an extraordinary memory and concept of motion (routes, trajectories, and so on), as well as superb pattern recognition -- and of those skills, the wonderlic tests seem to only test pattern recognition. If you watched the Gruden's QB Camp video, it's clear that RW has all of those skills.

[46 on my first try on the timed 15-question test. But I'm a math geek, and those sorts of tests tend to be very favorable to us math geeks.]

The wonderlic test is all math, I'm surprised some people score so low. I took it and scored a 41, Russell Wilson is football smart, not as much book smart. Andrew luck went to Stanford so he therefore scored high on the test, Ryan Fitzpatrick went to Harvard so that's why he scored so high
