Message boards rely on people's ability to dialogue, read longer posts, and discuss in a civilized way.
When social media limits characters typed, younger people get hooked on quick takes, not analysis. It also feeds into a black-white thinking on many topics, polarizing.
Places like this are for thinkers, even those we disagree with on some things. But we can discuss nuance and fine-points. I hope these places don't disappear.
