All 3 of those penalties the lineman was at least 3-4 yards downfield. I even noticed it before the flag was thrownSee teams go beyond 1-2 yards every game all year, never called
No not “at least”, the first two Lewis was in the 2-3 yard range. All 3 of those penalties the lineman was at least 3-4 yards downfield. I even noticed it before the flag was thrown
Refs miss calls sometimes. They missed a couple in the first half like roughing the passer. Metcalf and Diggs were both fined by the nfl for last game but no flags were thrown. It happens. While SF was aloud to hold Metcalf on a throw that was inches from his hands ... Yeah no steering though, just a coincidence smh
So you are saying they were legit penalties? No not “at least”, the first two Lewis was in the 2-3 yard range.
Yes legit penalties like offensive holding is a legit penalty that could be called on every play but isn’t.So you are saying they were legit penalties?
When was the last time you saw That penalty called three times in a game, let alone three times in a half?So you are saying they were legit penalties?
Wow....Yes legit penalties like offensive holding is a legit penalty that could be called on every play but isn’t.![]()
So you don’t think that offensive holding happens, per the rules, on almost every play?Wow....
I don't remember it ever being called 3 times in one game in that short of time, but then I have not seen linemen that blatantly downfield early on 3 plays in one game in that short of time eitherWhen was the last time you saw That penalty called three times in a game, let alone three times in a half?
Is that because you weren’t looking for it every game? It’s not like that is a part of the game someone watches actively every play. If you do, then props to you, you are waaaaaaaay more technical of a fan then the rest.I don't remember it ever being called 3 times in one game in that short of time, but then I have not seen linemen that blatantly downfield early on 3 plays in one game in that short of time either
No, not every play, but I do agree holding could be called more often than it is. However, linemen being downfield early is not really that common at all.So you don’t think that offensive holding happens, per the rules, on almost every play?
Are you sure about that? Watch most plays when a QB scrambles. No, not every play, but I do agree holding could be called more often than it is. However, linemen being downfield early is not really that common at all.
Yes I actually do watch for things like that. Maybe not every play or directly, but I do watch linemen quite often. I guess once a lineman, always a linemanIs that because you weren’t looking for it every game? It’s not like that is a part of the game someone watches actively every play. If you do, then props to you, you are waaaaaaaay more technical of a fan then the rest.
Other than the fact the lineman was 4 yards downfield, you would be right
Scrambles are running plays until the qb throws the ballAre you sure about that? Watch most plays when a QB scrambles.
Cause it rarely happensNo he wasnt
And even at 4, its rarely called
Too much to cover. If they’re eligible, theoretically you could have 10 receivers.
Also, if defenders are constantly getting blocked upfield, scores would average 100+ points between the two teams.
