If both teams turn up to play, I feel the Hawks match up better and come away with the win. And that's BEFORE you factor in the home advantage.

All you have to do is stuff the run (which it sounds like you've done really well since getting run over by TB), take away Kaep's first looks and let him make the mistakes, and keep their defence fairly spread out. I remember even Anquan struggled to get off the LoS in week two, and that same intensity from the Legion of Boom will give the 9ers a long day.

If Pete Carroll can get your guys fired up for PRESEASON games, what kind of work do you think he'll put into an NFCCG against the team you hate the most? I reckon you'll come to play, and the worst case is that you guys get rattled early if the 9ers get in front. Even then...

The niners will bring all of their moaning and cocky attitude... I would be sick if they win this game.

I am beyond concerned and have little confidence. Maybe its battered fan syndrome but I am not liking the way this is going. Let's hope K.J. and Harvin r back otherwise I do not think we have a chance. I am honestly surprised the niners r not favored.

Maybe the fact that we have beaten SF at home by a combined 71-13 will make you feel a little better. Kaep doesn't seem to handle the crowd noise at all well which limits a lot of what they have done to other teams calling out D sets and changing the call.

I am pessimistic. I think I am just setting up myself for the worst so a win is not expected and it is not as devastating if they lose. Lower my expectations.

I remember how nervous I was with the panthers in 05. I also remember how that turned out.

Yea, me too and that's a good point.

Even then, I have a bad feeling about this game. The Niners seem to be peaking while our offense seems to be regressing a bit. There's no chemistry between Wilson and our WRs like there used to be. I honestly think we lose and I hate the world for even thinking it, but I can't shake it.

No one can beat the Seahawks this year. Only the Seahawks can beat the Seahawks this year. Matched up at their best, no one can beat the Hawks.

Co sign the come on man. We are at home in the NFC champ game against the team we all expected to see here in preseason. We are 1-1 this year against them, blowing them out once and losing away in a tight game we could have won. Just roll with it and have faith in our boys who went 13-3 in the hardest division in football.
