When Seattle beats Atlanta will the disrespect end?

Honestly.. if anyone is not getting respect, its the Falcons. I have heard the "they can't win in the playoffs" way more often then the "Seahawks can't win on the road" statement.

Seems like we are getting a huge amount of respect.. If you are looking for every single media pundit to like us, and say we are going to dominate. Then you really have not watched a lot of sports commentary. No matter the topic, an analyst will always take a contrary point of view just to provide debate. If everyone on the panel agreed without debate, no one would watch.

I'm thinking that I have seen enough respect for the Hawks. I liked it better when they were totally going under the radar.

Jamie Dukes is explaining how in week 2 of 2011 that the Falcons had a big day, but neglected to say that the Hawks came back with TJack.

The Hawks can play with the Falcons, if they can get into an offensive rhythm they can score with them. Score for score. At this point, I don't even care of they lose. They need to keep cool and weather the storm.

I think our posters play the "no respect" card entirely to much. They seem to think if they aren't the leading headlines in every reporters story.

I say to our own members,,WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO DESERVE RESPECT? Well this year for the first year in a long time we've won more games than we've lost. So what, so have several other teams.

Win a SB, still have a team that is competitive afterwards and maybe then we'll get enough of what it is you want.

You guys must watch different channels than me.......like channels only Martians get. Cause there's been tons of Hawk love on ESPN and the NFL Network over the past month, and especially the past two weeks.

Just about every pundit I saw last week picked the Hawks to beat the Skins, and they're still on the bandwagon this week.

"You guys?" You mean the topic creator? No one else is agreeing with him..

Well they seem to be the only ones making these dumb threads.

It's called the Rodney Dangerfield complex. And believe me, as a Falcon fan I truly can empathize. But the Seahawks have been getting lots of love and deservedly so. Can't wait for Sunday. Be a great match up.

The franchises do really have a lot in common. Minimal interesting history (in terms of non-fans giving a crap). Not much winning. Neither one's a league "darling". The '05 team overlooked even at 13-3, this year's Falcons 14-2, but somehow nobody seems to care.

I've heard the Seahawks referred to as "Really, they're just the Atlanta Falcons for white people". So yeah, it's definitely a battle of perennial "little brothers".
