For me it was late 2011, Seahawks were trying to earn a wild card. They had a game against the 9ers in week 16 that they had to win. They didnt win it, and one of the 9ers asked a 9er fan to shower him with Skittles and declared himself the real beast mode. It kind of exploded for me from there.
Harbaugh is such a little baby, its really easy to root against him

I believe it was your very own player, Lynch, that wore these shoes. That caused that. Should be more upset with him.

I see so much hatred from Seattle fans towards my favorite team, the 49ers, that I have to ask this? Your team barely joined the NFC West during the realignment. Not enough time to build so much hatred towards us. Before the realignment and up until this year, most 49er fans don't even care for the Seahawks. They never really got a reaction out of the 49er fan base.

You guys consider us your rivals but we consider the Rams are our rivals.

So let me ask, when did your hatred for the 49ers begin?

And lol Seahawks fans don't think you're a rival. The media spun that up. Do you absolutely believe in the last 11 years, Seahawks fans thought, I just can't wait for our game with San Fran.

In 23 games the Seahawks have blownout San Fran by 20 points or more, 8 times. SF0 has never beat the Seahawks by more than 19 since realignment.

Rams are probably are biggest Rivals, until we dropped like 8 consecutive wins on them, hell other than 58-0, the Cards have played us tougher than 49ers ever could.

Just rmember 71-16. The Seahawks don't worry about the 49ers.

You are probably too young to remember or haven't followed the Seahawks as long. As someone who's probably watched football longer than your existence. I will tell you your rivals, history of the Seahawks, are the Raiders. I would say the Broncos and Chiefs but they have been beating Seattle forever. Remember when they were in the AFC West? Probably too young.

Anyways, these are the 3 teams you guys played the most and record. Most of your fan base will agree with me too.

Broncos 18-34
Chiefs 18-32
Raiders 23-28

When Harbaugh started 2-0 against us, and went 13-3 with a team that would have been 10-6 with average turnover luck, all while making headlines for being the league's smuggest douche, even then I didn't hate the 49ers, but it did make rooting against them so much fun. It made the 42-13 game the most satisfying regular season win ever.

Obviously, I root against the 49ers every week because a 49ers loss is basically a Seahawks win. But other than that, I don't have any reason to hate the 49ers. Now that our team appears to have their number, at least defensively, I actually think it's pretty cool that the nation at large thinks SF is maybe the best team in the NFL. It makes our team look ultra-elite when our team crushes them on national TV.

I'm probably in the minority though. Most Seahawks fans hate the 49ers. But look at it this way, you'd much rather have divisional teams hate you. Seahawks fans used to hate the Rams with a passion, now they could barely care less. Ripping off over 10 straight wins will do that*. If a team's fanbase hates your team, it just means your team is beating them.

*does not apply to Ducks fans.

Read back these two pages of posts and you will see why I hate you. You ask for answers and when you're given answers you make excuses. You embody your team and now I hate you as much as I hate your a-hole team. Good day, troll.

9erEmpire, you haven't been here long if you think that. Tons of 49ers trolls hang out here. Clearly 49ers fans do care. If these guys seem on edge, it's because you are 9ers troll #8262176723.

The big problem here is that I'm not even trolling. Have I said anything derogatory towards the Seahawks fan base?

I have been called classless and they are the ones name calling and using foul language.

A couple posts up you tempted a ban I thought, but you were smart and edited it out. But moreover, trolling isn't just about using bad language, it's about instigating and stirring stuff up. That's pretty much exactly what you are doing in this thread. Personally, I don't mind it, but I am very, very, very much in the minority on that around here.

I don't really mind it either. I just think its funny that you said you're in our heads when going to a whiner website never even enters my mind, like ever. Yet here YOU are. Yeah yeah, you came here for a social experiment....hahaha, tell yourself whatever you need to. The truth is, I only think about the whiners when they are playing a game or getting undeserved accolades, which unfortunately, has been a lot lately.

Typically teams fans hate the other teams cause they are good. I hated the lambs ever since they beat us three times in one season. Now I don't give a shit about them, though I may again soon. You hardly need a social experiment for that. So that just makes this whole point you're trying to make that much more pathetic. We reside in your head so much that you have to walk into our territory to validate your feelings, which you won't be able to accomplish through douchbaggery.

Take off and go back to your board where you can all sit around and jerk each other off about how great your team is, how classless the Hawks fans are, how of course your team is better and would win a neutral field contest, or how many Super Bowls your team won almost 20 years ago, or why don't we love you? Then your team would lose the 2nd divisional contest in a row after only squeaking out the W the game before and then you'd come to our board and pose obnoxious questions about why we don't think your whiney team and superior fans are the greatest. Oh wait, here you are. You can now piss off anytime and stop talking passive aggressive Schweitzer here. You are little different than the more traditional whiner troll who always leaves us with the "how many Super Bowls has your team won" as their non sequitur final marginally intelligent comment after posting some provocative nonsense here. Face it we aren't welcome at your site, and you aren't here. "All hail Joe Montana!" Wasn't Jerry Rice a Seahawks player?

We don't need reasons to hate your team, they are rivals, and there has been some really nasty stuff said and done between the teams. You coach is perfect for your effete base because he's a whiner too, our DBs are too physical, your team wants to hurt my QB, then tries to have your team hurt our QB, because it's within the rules. Your team is also the closest NFL team to Seattle and there has been a long history of unpleasantness between some of the fans. Perhaps you are unaware of the extent of the difficulties some opposing fans have experienced at your home field. Try going there wearing our team's gear and check out how you get treated which is different and worse on the nastiness scale than anywhere else around the league. Your posts here don't talk ball at all they are quiet passive aggressive argument designed to evoke nasty responses and occasionally ignorant ones as well. If you came to talk football instead of Schweitzer (sometimes autocorrect is great) you'd be tolerated and possibly responded to politely. However, that isn't your trollish motivation is it?

Several of the above posters have nailed the similarity to Cowboys fans, the arrogance of past successes being the basis, or the complete failure to recognize those of others. Some members of your fan base have complained that having intelligently loud fans was cheating, which whine we've heard before from Dallas and Giants fans who allege we pipe in noise in Seattle, a fact long proven false. In fact the league tried to penalize our fans in the past.

Face it the game is on for real between our two teams, we want our divisional championship back and aim to take it back after sharing it for a few seasons. Besides I dislike your teams uniforms and suspect that anyone who would want to come here and troll for fun is a jerk.

Just leave because you are not here to talk football. Just another 'Frisco dickwad here to stir up scat. Yep, we've met you before.

Mine began in the early 2000's. We had a pretty well-built team throughout until 2006, but all anyone wanted to talk about in the media was San Fransisco.

We're pretty much ignored up here most of the time by the national media, so hearing unearned adulation for what was a horrible 49er team back then was just annoying.

The real hatred started with the Alex Smith era. Every game I watched, they brought him up as a contender for MVP. Just ludicrous.

Now, it's about a QB that everyone adores that's pretty one-dimensional of a thrower and their coach is a literal p.o.s. I'm sorry, but Harbs is the most annoying coach in the NFL.

So, to sum up...it's that every year is the 9er superbowl year, every QB they have is an "MVP contender" and they earn praise from the national media when they have a horrible roster. We have to literally dominate to get noticed. Oh, and the fans are real pieces of work generally. Perfect storm.

Those things you mentioned never happened.

Alex as MVP candidate? Good stuff you smoking.

Kap is not one dimensional and Harbs is a cool guy if you pay attention to local media rather than national media. I have to admit Kap is kind of overexposed but so is Wilson.

We've had this same roster since Nolan/Singletary years. They drafted most of the defensive players and we had talent on offense waiting to be unleashed. Harbs finally did that.

Can't really hate the 49ers since they are the best team and organization on the West Coast, in terms of the NFL.

Riiiight. Every single game I watched of the 49ers they brought up his "poise in the pocket" and MVP calibre.

Kap is one dimensional. Tell me what happens when he tries throwing outside the pocket or when he goes through his read progression.

And no, Harb is a dick. Even to our media he's a dick. One word answers and absolute assholery.

Also, best team and organization on the west coast...hm...Seahawks are here, and I have far more faith in our organization over Harb's. You bring subjectivity to back yourself up, a true blind fan. Congrats on being the embodiment of what I despise about your team and fanbase.

Since 2011 when they became relevant and their fans became lemmings to Jim Harbaugh's Douchbaggery.

Its pretty much the point when 49er fans elevated their status to Cowboy fandom. And nobody really likes Cowboys fan.

Let's not go that far and compare us to Dallas fans.

I don't get this hate with Harbs. He has never done anything wrong except the time with Gym Shorts but besides that he's been real PC in his interviews and towards the media. He just doesn't give people much like Belichik.

Why not? The majority of you are gloryhunters.
How many niners fans were posting on this board before you were relevant?

Mostly your fan base. A bunch of thugs, cholos, and juggalos that took off their Raiders jerseys in 2011 and put on a red jersey instead. You get all 'stabby' around opposing fans. Your teams QB is a selfish, faux-gangster prick who won't even shake a hand after a loss. I want to respect the Niners as great rivals but I just can't.

Don't know when it started exactly but a couple things have turned the intensity up:

Harbaugh is a giant, certified douche. (Funny note, in typing this on a phone, it tried to autocorrect Harbaugh to garbage)

Your QB is a smug arrogant punk, whose looks seem to match his demeanor, who at the same time seems to have some real talent (athlete, scrambling instinct, arm). At the same time, his passing abilities (accuracy, decision making) are vastly overrated.

Your fans are largely bandwagon fans. That's not a big deal by itself, we are getting those too, but yours seem to be a lot of ex raider fans and other douchey types, for whatever reason.

WHICH IS SAD. Because you guys used to have one of the classiest fanbases around and most likable teams of all time. (The young/rice era)

There are many dimensions to a rivalry. One critical aspect is that the games are competitive. That's no longer the case. Our two teams are actually pretty similar in that the Rams are probably our real rival as well.
